From the staff at AwesomeRobo, we wish all of you guys the most kickass new years party ever.  Some of you are already in 2011, but others still have a few hours to go.

For being only 2 months old, we've had a really good run so far!  50,000+ views, 60 followers, and some really good word of mouth.  2011 will bring a completely new website, new features and herald the age of AwesomeRobo 2.0.  We're excited about whats ahead, but most of all we'd like to thank you guys for your support. :)  We look forward to a kickass new year ahead.

Gorillaz: The Fall

Love them or hate them, the Gorillaz are HUGE, and have been for the last few years, for good reason. I personally love the image and the idea behind the band, as well as extensive fictional universe depicting a virtual band of animated characters. If you've never heard of them before, you must have been under a rock for the last 12 years. But the newest album, The Fall, is something I've been hyped for. For quite a while, actually. Because on a technical level, it's impressive. The whole album was produced on the Ipad. Hopefully proving that something like the Ipad can be used for something more than just playing games or checking Facebook when you aren't at home. It can actually be used to create an industry standard album, and this is why there is a large amount of hype behind it. And whilst in my opinion it isn't the greatest album by the band, the album still is impressive on a technical level, and a great piece of art, and The Fall succeeds in what it set out to do.

Minecraft Beta Arrives

So, like most people on the internet, I have become addicted to the game Minecraft. Well, there is even more reason for me never to leave the house again, the Beta has arrived! 

This means slowly over the next few months, we will get major updates to the gameplay, graphics and the fun that you can have playing the game. And if you aren't playing the game......what's the excuse?

You can have some major fun not only playing the single player, but creating masterpieces in the Multiplayer.
