"Fake Banksy" Sells Out

In an amazing display of ballsy opportunism and the psychological power of hype, author David Cicirelli decided to play off of Banksy's October 13th New York stunt where he attempted to sell $60 canvases worth thousands of dollars each to the public from an unassuming stand. In seven hours only three were sold, much to many avid fans' chagrin.

Cicirelli set up a stand featuring Banksy reproductions and offered them for the same price, but told customers they were buying fake pieces. And he sold out of every piece (40) in just under an hour, playing a gullible public eager to invest after the value was exposed. I can't blame them honestly, as the modus operandi of Cicirelli played out in a cryptic style perfectly similar to Banksy's.

Awesome Ride Prank

I can imagine that an amusement park ride operator's job would probably get a bit boring towards the end of the day.  So why not mix things up a bit, and play a [safe] prank on an unsuspecting rider?  Maybe say something along the lines of "the harness isn't working" right before launching his ride?  The reaction is priceless, and I'm surprised he didn't s*it his pants.

Mike Diva Does Band Auditions

Awesome Robo favorite, Mike Diva, has produced a prank that outdoes Sexy Saxman Serenade in every way possible. By posting an ad in the Los Angeles area for band auditions, Mike Diva has collected a group of some of the most pathetic wannabe rockstars out there (keep living the dream guys, don't listen to me), willing to do anything they're told. 
While the idea of a pool filled with rubber duckies and death is a beautiful thing, I think I'm most impressed with the panel of judges ability to keep such straight faces. Seriously, how do you stare a random in the face while he tells you how bad he wants you and not move a lip muscle?

Upping The Ante

I just can't believe what types of pranks Japanese TV can get away with. This stuff would never fly in most countries..Lawsuits would fly freely. I'm just guessing that most people that appear on these shows have a good enough sense of humor to just walk it off and laugh about it later. This particular prank just keeps getting worse and worse, much to the shock of this poor guy. The bar has been set high.

Remi Kart 2

Remi Gaillard returns after this first Mario Kart skit to wreak havoc on the french streets in his go kart.  Bananas will be thrown, cops will be flipped off, and malls will be raided.  This guy has some major balls.
