As it turns out, it wasn't part of a campaign for Portal 2 DLC. What was revealed was something just as sweet. A thank you note for Valve
The note reads:
ARG would like to Thank everyone involved in the Portal 2 campaign, for their hard work in creating such an enjoyable ARG. The reception amongst the community was incredibly positive, which is a hard thing to achieve when working to meet such high expectations. You're a real credit to the game development industry, and for that we congratulate you.
You can send your thank you's to one of the greatest companies created. I love Valve, they really do work for the fans. Except when it comes to releasing Half-Life 2: Episode 3. God dammit Valve.
