We've missed out yet again on an opportunity to score some ridiculously cool Mondo posters. Due to the fact that the sales are always announced on Mondo's Twitter at random times with little forewarning, you've got to stay glued to your screen for a chance to score their limited edition posters.

What did we miss out on this time around? A 6 poster set covering all five of the classic movies, and an Alamo Drafthouse exclusive. The posters were created by Martin Ansin, Ken Taylor, Rich Kelly, Phantom City Creative, Florian Betermeter and Jason Edminston. Check out the rest of them after the break!

Planet Of The Apes Party Fun Time

Those damn dirty apes are getting down to Benny Benassi! This is a pretty hilarious remix featuring re-edited footage of the original Planet Of The Apes, with lots of apes and humans getting down. The disco bling underwear scene damn near killed me. I hope they play this before the upcoming Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes flick. Evolution becomes musical revolution!

Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes: A New Trailer & Guerilla Marketing

This new trailer for the Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes just landed last night, telling us a lot more about the backstory and what leads to the actual 'rise.' A breakthrough medicine developed by a leading scientist (James Franco), intended to reverse the effect of Alzheimers has an unexpected side effect on animal test subjects, at which point they begin to rapidly develop and surpass human intelligence. The emotive nature of the apes that Weta managed to capture with their 3d technology is pretty inspiring. The movie is really shaping up to be something epic. Can't wait.

On a side note, it appears that Fox has started the trickle of various videos entailing how the apes are getting a little too smart. All the videos so far are edited to look like amateur/log videos. Check out all the currently released ones after the break!

Apes Gone Wild: Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes Trailer

I'm a huge Planet Of The Apes fan. I've said that 14017619761 times on here. I also hate the heartless, soulless piece of s*** Tim Burton remake. But this? A reboot of the series? I liked the first trailer, but this one? The moment the monkeys stood on the building with spears I was transported back to my childhood, watching each of the Planet Of The Ape films one by one, falling in love. I'm sold, I hope the film will.....rise....to the occasion. I'm going ape s*** insane over this one. I'm done.

Planet Of The Apes Reboot "Rises" To Earlier Release Date

Fox is moving Rise of the Apes, a reimagined "origin story" for its fabled Planet of the Apes series, from its previously scheduled November release date. It now has a summer release of August 5th of this year.

I'm interested to see how they handle this remake/reboot. I hope they handle it better than the Tim Burton "Planet of the Apes" remake. It was heartless and the first nail in the coffin Tim Burton's career took (but that's a whole different article in itself).
