Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes: A New Trailer & Guerilla Marketing

This new trailer for the Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes just landed last night, telling us a lot more about the backstory and what leads to the actual 'rise.' A breakthrough medicine developed by a leading scientist (James Franco), intended to reverse the effect of Alzheimers has an unexpected side effect on animal test subjects, at which point they begin to rapidly develop and surpass human intelligence. The emotive nature of the apes that Weta managed to capture with their 3d technology is pretty inspiring. The movie is really shaping up to be something epic. Can't wait.

On a side note, it appears that Fox has started the trickle of various videos entailing how the apes are getting a little too smart. All the videos so far are edited to look like amateur/log videos. Check out all the currently released ones after the break!
