To The Heart of The Matter

We recently stumbled across this student stop motion short by Irish animator/model maker Reuben Loane.  As a man practices his much anticipated proposal to his girlfriend, the machine that runs the Earth comes to a standstill. A Lunch Break Romance

Danny Sangra's short film A Lunch Break Romance brought a little smirk to my face at the end of a long Monday. Utilizing subtitles to represent inner monologue, and man spots his crush on a park bench during his lunch break, and agonizes on how he should proceed. It's a situation a good many of us have experienced a time or two (except for you cool, confident motherf**kers, of course), and it's fun to enjoy a relatable slice-of-life short.
