Danny Sangra's short film A Lunch Break Romance brought a little smirk to my face at the end of a long Monday. Utilizing subtitles to represent inner monologue, and man spots his crush on a park bench during his lunch break, and agonizes on how he should proceed. It's a situation a good many of us have experienced a time or two (except for you cool, confident motherf**kers, of course), and it's fun to enjoy a relatable slice-of-life short.

Crow's Nest by Robert Milne
It's a situation that everyone encounters at some point in their life, whether it be school, work, or wherever: Someone taking credit for your hard work. Animator Robert Milne captures this all too common frustrating event with the use of two crows, on a nest-making quest. I loved how despite the visual design of the crows being quite simplistic, their emotion was still highly readable via the well animated body language. It's a brief animated short, so be sure to stick through to the end for an added laugh.
