Well, it's almost evening time in our part of the world, and we're all still here.  It seems that whole end of the world thing was crap (cough, cough).  Color us surprised.  Anyways, why not add another Doomsday piece in to the mix?  And we have, with 'Next Life'.  It's the animated short full off sepia-tones, a melancholy yet fashionable couple, and some news for the future of mankind.  Sorta.  It's a contradiction of sorts, with a mellow Louis Armstrong song accompanied by some shaky animation.  "Should I feel chill, or uptight?!" 

This Is The End - Red Band Trailer

Despite all the annoying speculation, the world will not be ending tomorrow. That's a fact and if it does you can hold it against me. But in "honor" of the mass panic currently going on I thought I would show you the newly released Red-Band trailer for one of the funner movie projects coming out next year: This Is The End.

The film is the directorial debut of frequent collaborators Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, who co-wrote Superbad, Pineapple Express and more. The film takes a rather meta approach with its cast, with actors playing themselves going to a party at James Franco‘s house, only to find themselves at end of days. Not sold yet? The cast includes Seth Rogen, Franco, Jay Baruchel, Jonah Hill, Aziz Ansari, Rihanna, Paul Rudd, Danny McBride, Emma Watson, Michael Cera, David Krumholtz, Martin Starr, Mindy Kaling, Craig Robinson and others. It would take a team of idiots to screw it up and the pair have proven themselves worthy before, so let's hope this turns out as good as it looks.

Recently, I've been playing a lot of Fallout: New Vegas. And the question has come to mind like it always did as the curious teen I always was; if a nuclear bomb hit near or on my town would I survive? It's always been a mystery until I found the site that has lived out my morbid teenage dreams.

Would I Survive? detects your location through Googlemaps and can guide you through a bunch of different disasters including Nuclear holocaust or meteorite.....if your location survives. Time to get paranoid about where you live and the newest Ice-age because this game will do that to you! If it makes you feel any better, I died every time...

Swarmanoid: Cute, Terrifying Robots

Now don't get me wrong, I think this is some amazing progress for the capabilities of robotic cooperation towards achieving a common goal...Using three different robots types, Handbot(Retrieval), Footbot(Transport) and Eyebot(Recon) the units coordinate together to retrieve a book in a calculated, planned out manner. Now here's what I want you to think about: Instead of targeting a book, replace that with humans..And instead of these machines being cute little things that fit in your living room, imagine these things a few dozen times bigger. And you've basically got the Terminator scenario.

The Swarmanoid project was coordinated by Marco Dorigo and funded by the EU...And have you guys heard of the actual satellites launched into space by the UK known as 'Skynet,' operated by Paradigm Secure Communication to provide strategic information to NATO and UK armies? I sh** you not, its only a matter of time before we'll be rendered extinct by the machines when they become aware. Prepare yourselves for the war between man and machine.

The World Will Now End On My Birthday

Hey, you know how I said that no more rapture jokes would be made? I lied. Harold Camping, who announced the Rapture would occur Saturday, has had another revelation: The world will now end on October 21. Camping says that he was scamming people and guessed a random date God held off Saturday out of mercy: He did not want man to suffer for five months, but he was here on earth, spiritually. Last Rapture Joke, We Swear

In response to the billboards Family Radio posted around the world ("21st of May, Rapture is Coming!"), Atheists and non-crazy Christians have their say, and use the same bible that proved the supposed date of the end of the world to prove the fabricated word of Family Radio wrong, again.

Harold Camping said he was "flabbergasted" that his May 21 Rapture prediction did not occur, adding that he would speak more on the topic when he returns to work Monday. He was a no-show at his Family Radio office in Oakland, Calif., this monday morning. The millions of dollars he stole raised from people also happens to be M.I.A.
