Created by a team of 5 passionate students at Supinfocom Arles over the course of a year and a half, Tuurngait is a lovely animated short that just wrapped up it's 50 film festival run, garnering a total of 9 awards. Narrating the story of an Inuit boy captivated by a white bird to the point of putting himself in danger, this short is filled with some truly eye popping winter visuals and a really nice, understated animation style. Directed by Paul-Emile Boucher, Remy Dupont, Benjamin Fluow, MickaĆ«l Riciotti and Alexandre Toufaili.

An Inuit child wanders away from his village, fascinated by a wild bird. His father follows his trail, determined to find him before he gets lost on the ice floe...
