Brink: The Art Style

Having had the chance to play for nearly ten hours now, its become obvious that Brink strove to be a lot, but fell short of expectations of many players. It promised a lot but didn't quite follow through on a lot of the game design aspects, which has resulted in a lukewarm reception. That aside, if Brink falls into obscurity within the next 2-3 months due to said issues, at least it will have a memorable legacy for its incredibly unique art style. In that aspect, the game succeeded, bringing us a breath of fresh air visually with its interesting style. The pushed proportions, the colors, and the personalities they infused into these designs were larger than life. We've put together as much concept art as we could about the art.  Check out a ton of images after the jump!

Art by LD Austin and Feerik. We salute you guys, and your art directors for bringing us a beautiful new art style, and setting the bar a little higher for other studios for pushing the creative envelope.
