Letherette - "D&T"

Using a found footage approach, courtesy of New York's Konx-Om-Pax collective, the Wolverhampton, UK based duo's track from their upcoming debut album (April) delivers an exciting taste of things to come. The chopped up funky track gels perfectly with the cascade of retro visuals, peaking with a most excellent guitar finisher towards the end. Anyone else getting some familiar Toro Y Moi vibes?

Illya Kuryaki and The Valderramas - Ula Ula

As it closes in on winter, I usually find myself sticking to quieter music (don't ask why, it just makes sense). Luckily, songs like this come around and f*ck up my listening habits and completely cheer up my day/night. Ula Ula is all around an extremely fun song, but the music video definitely adds quite a bit to the experience. While I've already had to give this a few more views to find a word to describe it, all I could come up with was groovy.
