Jean Claude Van Damme in "Licks of Justice" (NSFW)
Animator Bruce Luce's entry for the JCVD Make My Movie Contest is a blood-drenched, grainy-film Grindhouse re-imagining of the iconic Tootsie Roll commercials of the 60's. I never realized how much I wanted to see Van Damme choke-hold a talking turtle before now. How many hits does it take to kill a man? You'll have to watch the video to find out. And go for vote for his video in the contest if you like it!

Mike Diva's 'Grind House Anthem'
Ever wonder what kind of magic would come out of mashing 50 Grindhouse movies together? Of course you have, don't even kid yourself. Using clips from 50 movies, Mika Diva and friends have put together an amazingly catchy electro-beat that I can't help but tap my toes to. After being sucked into Grindhouse Flix's catchy marketing scheme, I jumped over to their website to have a look and I was actually pretty impressed with their selection. If you're in an overly violent mood, I definitely suggest heading over dropping a few dollars to fulfill your needs.

Zombinladen: The Axis Of Evil Dead
This awesome grindhouse trailer recently popped up for the inevitable Bin Laden zombie flick following his strange burial at sea. The flick looks awesome, but don't be holding your breath just yet. The trailer is a mockup that isn't in production. HOWEVER...If people were to share this trailer enough, you never know. And you know what, if these guys created a Kickstarter I'd probably chip in a few bucks. Kudos to Clement Deneux and his team for cranking out this awesome trailer in just 4 days!

Killer Ice Cream Men and the Untimely Waffle, Zombies and Cat
With a title like 'Killer Ice Cream Men and The Untimely Waffle, Zombies And Cat,' one shouldn't be surprised as to what their getting themselves into. If you do, shame on you! This is everything right about grindhouse movies, and more movies like this need better distribution. It may not have widespread appeal like most Hollywood Blockbusters, but damn..I'd love to see this on the big screen. I'd even be willing to make a 30 minute trek to catch it at the drive in. If ice cream cones being used as weapons doesn't suit your fancy, please reassess your cinematic values! Check it out.

Machine Gun Cop
Creating a film is hard. Creating a mock trailer that looks this good is even harder. Especially when you know this film will never be released.
This trailer, created for the Hobo With A Shotgun Trailer Contest has captured the true essence of the genre. And is pretty kick-ass. I would watch this film.
Hobo With A Shotgun will be released on March 25th in Canada and May 6th in the USA
