Fly
Created for the annual, internal Titmouse 5 Second Animation day- Mike Roush's Fly is a dizzying look into the highlights of the rather brief, yet intense lifespan of a green bottle fly. This short, among many others is part of an annual tradition at the company of allowing their employees to dedicate a day to creating a cartoon they've had brewing in their twisted minds.
About a week or two ago they actually did a screening at the Egyptian Theater in LA for the first time since starting the tradition, where they showed off a slew of 5 second shorts along with some Titmouse 'vault' classics like the Motor City pilot and other goodies to the public. An event to plan for next year! Check out Nathan Rico's contribution to the event, Space Malaise after the break!

More Awesome Space Shower TV Idents
We're back with some more amazing idents from Japan's Space Shower TV, a channel that I dubbed as a spiritual successor to the 'classic' MTV formula. The channel regularly collaborates with local and international artists to create some truly fun, colorful and out of the box eye candy to show between their musical programming.
Among them we have a fun hybrid of live action and over the top mecha action by indie animator Rapparu (Above), and after the break you can find a glitched out dating sim, live action stop motion, and a sweet light tracing exhibition.

Team Wizard - A Robo-Cyclops Brawl
Created by a group of students from Portsmouth University for the BFX Festival, Team Wizard chronicles three warriors battling a giant cyclops using a mixture of 2D and 3D animation. Billy Mpetha animated, modeled and rigged the Cyclops, David Sadler animated the old guy, Dan James animated Odysseus and his cat, and Chavdar Yordanov took care of the Wizard.
The rules of the festival asked for a 15-30 second entry for the final piece, and the team delivered something pretty amazing within that timeframe. Again, I'm just left wanting more. Check out the making of after the break!

Kumi Festival Opening
Created for KUMI's (Konkuk University Moving Images) 7th annual graduation screening in South Korea, this awesome high energy intro features the work of the various disciplines from the senior class. Animators, compositors, background painters and FX animators came together to create this awesome little promo. A bite sized visual treat.

Hi-Dilly-Ho!
Some pretty silly holiday elf animation loops from Allakinda- Who created this fun little piece on her free time in between jobs. Aside from being just pure fun, Allakinda introduced us to the music of Pelo Mono with this bite sized animation, a Spanish Rockabilly-styled group. Give their awesome debut album a listen over on the Pelo Mono Bandcamp.

Visual Bites - First World Monster Problems, Ninja Cumbia, Swarm, Human Race
It's hard being a monster these days. Bronto House created a quick fire reel of the types of issues that a ghost, vampire and zombie run into while trying to do the everyday tasks that we tend to find trivial. Short, sweet and to the point. More visual bites after the break!
