Nocturne

Created by Kari Casady as her fourth year film at Calarts, Nocturne was inspired by the music of English pop band The XX, specifically the track called Intro. Driven by the visuals evoked in her head by the atmospheric track, she created a really cool narrative regarding the daily journey of a mystical deer that brings evening wherever it goes. Traveling through forests, cities and towns we witness the transformation of a world into it's nocturnal state. Beautifully executed.
