Carnivore

Vitaliy Stroukous' Carnivore is a uniquel styled short about a hunter seeking to quell her overwhelming hunger in a newly discovered jungle, only to find herself thwarted time and time again by the local flora and fauna. The stylization of the short is very interesting, employing a distinct line art quality similar to that of a thick brush pen and some poppy animation.

Have to give some kudos to Stroukos for his unorthodox choice of creature inspiration, choosing to base one of the predatory creatures in the short off of an Olm, best known for their translucent skin and distinct external gills. Vitaliy spent a year working at Pixar as part of the crowd department on Brave before moving on to JibJab Media, where he currently resides as a full time production artist.
