Eternal Descent is a comic most people overlooked. It had pretty decent art and an interesting story that was let down by what little coverage and attention it got. The comic revolved around Lyra, a rockstar under the protection of Sirian, an ever vigilant, nomadic warrior who was cast from heaven and has risen from hell whilst setting out to save Lyra and the world from Loki's maniacal grasp. Eternal Descent chronicles Lyra's transformation into an immortal, her relationship with Sirian, and their mutual war against Loki.

I'm a fan of this series by IDW and if you haven't heard of it, I highly suggest you give the comic a chance. The creators are trying to gather up the money to help make this project a reality. Whilst only this 2 minute teaser has been provided it is just a taste of what they have planned to do with the franchise, with the final project promising to feature state of the art animation, 3D renderings and an original soundtrack featuring some pretty sick metal riffs.
The comic featured guest appearances from famous nu-wave metal bands Atreyu, Firewind, God Forbid, Static-X, and Shadows Fall who will hopefully support and appear in the project.
