Most Promising Of E3: Bioshock Infinite

Behind closed doors reserved for press only, Irrational showed off an amazing look at the gameplay and epic world of Bioshock Infinite, a xenophobic utopia gone horribly wrong. A year has passed since we saw any trailers or heard a peep about the game, but we're glad to say that its looking fantastic. The setting and visual style are fresh, just as Bioshock's Rapture was back in the day. With the advent of oh so many gritty games with limited color palettes, Infinite comes in with a colorful world set in the sky and some seriously messed up undertones.

Along with a new version of a Big Daddy for this setting, a giant mechanical crow that scans for outsiders..we saw everything from creating molten bowls of explosive utensils, to evil mechanical half men/robot minions to a girl who could bring life back to things that had passed away. The trailer above gives a small taste of some of the things we saw in the presentation.
