12 Minutes Of Battlefield 3

About a month has passed since we last looked at Battlefield 3 on AwesomeRobo. This new trailer covers 12 minutes of gameplay from various different scenarios in the singleplayer campaign, and man does it look satisfying. After the disappointing Battlefield: Bad Company 2, which introduced dumbed down mechanics(including getting rid of prone), medics with heavy machine gun loadouts(wtf?) and much smaller maps, its glad to see Dice is going back to their roots.

The return of 64 player maps, prone mode and realistic weapons is upon us.  It also seems like they're putting a ton more effort into their singleplayer campaign, seeing that its felt like an afterthought in most of their games.  The scripted sequences are among the most impressive I've seen in any FPS game..And their destruction engine appears to have been upgraded even further.  The final shot in the trailer of the building toppling onto the player is pretty damn impressive.  Looking forward to this.
