Robert Rodriguez (Sin City, Machete) and Kobe Bryant team up in a wonderfully campy and star-studded short film for Nike which introduces Kobe's alter ego, The Black Mamba. Nike has a history of amazing, original collaborations with directors and celebrities, one of my favorite's being Alejandro González Iñárritu's kinetic, globe-trotting "Write the Future" commercial.
"The Black Mamba" features long time Robert Rodriguez collaborators Danny Trejo and Bruce Willis, along with surprising newcomer Kanye West.
This is fun stuff. I'm glad they're not too blatant about the shoes.
