The Wolverine Official Trailer : Logan's Feeling Vulnerable
Following three relatively disappointing entries into the X-men franchise, which started with the awful X-men: Last Stand, followed by the widely panned (And non-canon) Wolverine: Origins and concluded with 2011's mediocre X-men: First Class, I was honestly relieved to see Marvel put the series on ice temporarily and rethink their approach to the franchise.
Dare I say it, this entry actually looks interesting for the fact that it features Logan losing his healing factor, implying an entirely new dynamic to the typically invincible, cocky Wolverine that we're used to seeing. Aside from giving him a reason to stop taking his existence for granted, the trailer also implies that losing others is the true factor that continues to eat away at him. As good as the trailer is though, I'm taking it with a grain of salt considering writer Mike Bomback's involvement, who managed to mangle the Total Recall remake so badly that it was close to unforgivable. Cautious optimism is the best way to move forward.

Xmen By Marcio Takara
![]() |
| (Via) An amazing tribute to the Xmen by the Toronto based Brazilian artist Marcio Takara. What I really enjoyed about this piece was that he actually didn't cop out and stick fan favorite Wolverine in the foreground..In this day and age having Cyclops as the front runner just feels really bold. On that note, did any of you guys check out Xmen: First Class? |

Magneto Was A Little...Slow Back Then
This clip is from the rather obscure (For obvious reasons) Fantastic Four TV show from the 70's. I guess Magneto had suffered a few strokes, or been hit in the head a few times to allow such a retarded scene to take place. The fact that the show forgets that after being tricked into surrendering at the sight of a wooden gun to make him think he's powerless, he's led away by a bunch of cops completely decked out with metal after having it explained to him. You probably just lost a few brain cells watching such powerful stupidity unfold.
