Mike Mitchell's Jim Henson Tribute

There's a new show at the Gallery Nucleus in California: The Lovers, the Dreamers, and Me: A Jim Henson Tribute Exhibition.  Throughout the holiday season, there will be a variety of Jim Henson inspired work, including 3 amazing pieces from Mike Mitchell (check out more of his work on his blog).  The first one here with Kermit, and an amusing role reversal. Two more after the jump!

OK Go and The Muppets

OK Go has decided to delve into a little nostalgia, and bring us a revamped Muppet Show theme song.  Definitely not the recognizable vaudevillian tune that we all know and love, but pretty damn awesome nonetheless.  About halfway or so through the video, we have none other, than a TWIST!  Aha, the tables have been turned.

The Muppet's Poster Fills Me With Childish Glee

Most of us loved the Muppets at some point in time. Seeing them come back for a whole new generation to appreciate and enjoy is something I really love, especially when it comes to one of the greatest creations that Jim Henson ever came up. With an all-star cast and an adventure of a life-time? I sincerely hope this film isn't a stinker. Check out the trailer after the jump, though. Because I assure you, it won't leave you feeling green.

In Brightest Day, In Piggy's Light

Sometimes it's not easy being Green, especially when you are the only frog within the Muppet Lantern Corps....This is one of the newest posters for The Muppets Movie, a reboot of the classic series that I am pretty excited about. The poster is a great tie in to the upcoming Green Lantern movie, another movie I am super hyped for.

On that note, expect to see a Green Lantern review up tomorrow...Not only for the flick, but for the video game too. Double whammy.

Update: A Green Lantern flavored trailer just got posted too! Go figure.
