The Last Cat on Earth

Cats will always be ass holes in my book, but this newest Freddie W short/music video does a pretty good job at convincing me that dogs are even bigger jerks. In a purely fictitious world, I suppose dogs can be ass holes too, especially when they're hunting for the last cat on earth. If a battle of this magnitude were to ever occur, I'm not sure which side I'd choose, because the internet fame that correlates with cats is generally much higher than that of dogs but dogs are way cuter (sorry, but it's true).

Basically, what I'm getting at is dogs are better than cats unless you're on the internet and this video is awesome.

First Person Mario: Endgame

After taking a measly 50 days of rendering FreddieW has something rather awesome to show us. The original, which was released well over a year and a half ago was neat but Freddie Wong and team has gone above and beyond with Endgame. Possibly my favorite part of this entire video is the addition of the the sidescrolling version of the level in the top left corner. Being able to jump back and forth between first-person and a 2D sidescroller really adds a lot of depth and I often found myself rewinding to see what the hell was actually going on.

FreddieW Might Be Done With The Harlem Shake

I don't care what you think, the Harlem Shake is genuinely one of the best video memes to hit the internet. I cancertainly understand that some are already getting a little burnt out, but you have to admit that the community has continuously found some amazings ways to push the video craze a little further. Freddie Wong on the other hand has had enough and he's letting everyone knowing in the only way possible, with another Harlem Shake video.

Freddie W's Minecraft Massacre

With Minecraft becoming one of the worlds most popular indie games this year, many players have experienced the love/hate relationship that is playing it. One of the most commonly known is meeting a creeper after having worked hard to gather diamonds only to see it blown up in a second by one of these explosive creatures. FreddieW shows off his awesome video FX skills and brings too life a visual rendition of what goes through our collective minds when a creeper gets too close.

Splinter Cell: Lightbulb Killer

FreddieW tackles a pretty funny aspect of the Splinter Cell videogames that never really made sense, but gamers accepted anyway. Aside from Sam Fisher wearing the equivalent of three incredibly unstealthy green flashlights on his head, the best way to remain undetected in that franchise was to shoot lights out in order to stay in the dark...But FreddieW points out just how stupid of an idea that would be in this video, among other things. A fun little poke at videogame logic.

CROSSFIRE!

FreddieW, thank you for revisiting the most awesome, epic toy that every kid begged their parents for in the eighties. And he didn't do a simple tribute, he hired the damn Steel Panthers to cover the classic Crossfire song. If you're not familiar with the tabletop game called Crossfire, check this sh** out.



Thats right...Metal balls, an insanely over the top commercial and one of the most catchy product theme songs during that era. That theme got stuck in your head, and wouldn't let go. This product was an example of the genius of eighties marketing, because the game sucked complete ass in retrospect..But sold well thanks to the amazing advertising campaign which made it look irresistible. I learned that lesson the hard way.

FreddieW Gets A Bodycount

FreddieW just released this new video, featuring the usual gunplay....Except this time, he's doing a video to promo an upcoming Xbox Live title called Bodycount, a multiplayer only title with an emphasis on satisfying gunplay. We saw the game at E3, and are looking forward to hearing more about the game as the release date nears.. Check out the gameplay trailer after the break!

A**hole Jedi's Would Make For Great Reality Television

FreddieW continues his streak of YouTube gold with a Star Wars themed entry. A couple of Jedi with a knack for being a**holes makes for great entertainment. I wouldn't mind reality television if it were in the same vein. Honestly, if the cast of Jersey Shore had access to the force, I might contemplate watching them. As for now, the only force present in Jersey Shore is date rape.

FreddieW Continues To Impress

 There's a serious lack of talented YouTube partners nowadays, with nothing but jump cuts and unfunny dialogue it's sometimes hard to find an enjoyable YouTube director. Luckily there's diamonds in the rough like FreddieW that continue to make YouTube an impressive place.
