Ultimate Spider-Man Invades Gaming Market

Today marked the release of Brian Michael Bendis and Sara Pichelli's Ultimate Spider-Man #1 featuring the brand new Ultimate Spider-man Miles Morales. What better way to celebrate than by announcing alternate costumes for video games!

When Spider-Man: Edge of Time arrives on October 4th, the costume will be playable and seems to be unlockable in-game.

Kids Players of the Marvel Super Hero Squad Online game will have to enter a piece of art to be able to win one of just 30 of the new Ultimate Spider-Man costumes. Check out the full art of both after the jump.

Ultimate Spider-Man: Hope We Can Believe In

Alternate Variant By Sara Pichelli (Via)

This variant cover for the new Ultimate Spider-man does show off the multi-national-possibly-gay-in-the-future Spider-man. I really do like this cover more than the original, and whilst I've been looking forward to the comic since it was first announced, this cover brings hope that it won't just be a lame copy of Spider-man or Ultimate Spider-man.

But then again, Marvel do have a history of screwing the ultimate universe over with awful reboots & even worse cross-overs so colour me doubtful. Not as colourful as the new character's costume, though.

Issue one of Ultimate Spider-man will be available form the 7th of September.

Meet Your New Spider-Man (In The Ultimate Universe)

Marvel, ahead of the release of Ultimate Fallout tomorrow, has revealed to USA today the big twist we've been waiting for; we finally know who replaces Peter Parker as Spider-Man within the Ultimate Spider-man series. Who is it? Find out after the jump. I'm not going to lie, you'll be very surprised.

Ultimate Spider-Man Is Back!

Never put Spidey in the corner.

Hey. Remember when Ultimate Spider-Man died? Well, he's being replaced. With a kid that wears knee-pads and a home-made looking costume. Ultimate Fallout #4 is the first appearance of the new Spider-Man of Marvel's Ultimate Comics universe.

Ultimate Fallout #4 is written by Brian Michael Bendis, Jonathan Hickman and Nick Spencer with artwork by Sara Pichelli, Salvador Larroca, and Clayton Crain and a cover by Mark Bagley. The book goes on sale next Wednesday in comics stores everywhere

Death Of Spiderman Tomorrow

Just a friendly reminder. Ultimate Spider-man's newest (and most depressing saga) comes to an end tomorrow. I won't comment on the spoilers that Marvel leaked, because I want everything to be a surprise and I've been avoiding spoilers. I've been following Ultimate Spider-man since Peter Parker began within the Ultimate Universe, and I'm very curious as to how this is going to pan out.

I have my copy on order, but us UK citizen's get new comics on Thursday. Either way, I'll give a review after that point. I'm guessing I might be sad, depressed and in tears.
