Animated by Balázs Simon to accompany the wonderfully narrative music of German composer Nils Frahm who captivated us with his ambient scores, RE is a beautiful piece from both a visual and musical standpoint. The instrumental track is taken from 'Screws,' a newly released album that was created following Frahm's recovery from a broken thumb- An injury that deprived Frahm of his greatest joy as a pianist for quite some time. When I first heard Nils' new album Screws I instantly fell in love with it - not only because of the music, but also because of it's backstory. Listening to 'Re' planted a story and a world in my head, so I decided to create a music video for it.
