Imachinarium - Scifi Stop Motion

There's nothing like some grungy cyberpunk flavored stop motion to get your day going. Imachinarium  was created over the course of seven months by the Barefooted Knights, a student animation collective from Belgium using nothing but scrap computer parts. The main concept was to create an alternate universe with it's own set of distinct laws and rulesm and I think they accomplished that pretty nicely. The sound treatment did the trick, taking me back to watching the likes of underground dark scfi classics like Tetsuo The Ironman. Despite the lack of a clear narrative, it was a visually stimulating watch from start to finish.
