The Art Of Ross Tran

Ross Tran is an Art Center College of Design alum, where he graduated as an Entertainment Design major. Like any graduates from the Pasadena school, they typically embark on a whirlwind of freelance gigs at a variety of studios, with Tran himself working for 4 different employers just last year.

His work is stylized, colorful and playful, leaning more towards painterly rather than detailed, with an emphasis on painterly brush strokes. From a concept art standpoint, it definitely evokes memories of an earlier Jamie Jones/Craig Mullins, although Tran has found his own thematic niches to explore, including his ongoing Nima project.
