American funk/soul band Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings have been around for almost 20 years now, are bringing back the feel of 1960's soul music. Fusing together the retro sound with modern animation, they recently debuted the music video for the single, "Retreat!" The track was written by Ms. Jones, following a recent cancer diagnosis. Drawing inspiration from the funky, psychedelic style popular in the 60's, the video has a lot happening visually, but its all tied together very nicely.
