Barf! Help Kickstart The Official River City Ransom Sequel

I can't even begin to fathom the amount of hours my friends I put into River City Ransom while growing up, but I'm pretty sure it was enough to permanently damage my vision. At the above Kickstarter video outlines it's been over twenty years since the game's original release, which is far too long since the world has gotten to beat the change out of someone. Thankfully, there's always someone out there willing to bring back the games we love (without being a horrible mess) and this time the indie team at Conatus Creative is reviving the series with an official sequel.

The game is featuring some juicy 8-bit pixel art I can't help but salivate over, but provides a new fighting engine while still providing the parts we loved from the original. With the blessing of the original developers at Millions, River City Ransom: Underground is an official licensed sequel for a new era.

The original River City Ransom was a ridiculously over-the-top brawler with quirky characters and items and River City Ransom: Underground looks to be pushing the brawler to it's limits. With instances of wrestling, puking poison, and kicking the crap out of an enemy with 4-player co-op, this game is look absolutely incredible. To show a bit of support for a sequel many of us thought would never happen, head over to their Kickstarter page over here.
