Barcelona based freelance illustrator Julia Sarda mainly works in the editorial field in her home country of Spain, providing beautiful work for books, magazines and more. Her style retains a more traditionally illustrated feel, despite her usage of digital mediums, the result of a strong traditional foundation before moving on to working in programs like Photoshop.
Julia just recently completed a set of illustrations for L. Frank Baum's The Wonderful Wizard Of OZ for 'Circulo De Lectores,' a company in Spain similar to Barnes And Nobles. The ten illustrations chronicle Dorothy's first journey into the fantastical realm, executed in a really cool pastel style reminiscent of vintage children's books. Check out the rest of the set after the break!
