Dreamworks finally gives us a sequel to arguably one of their best franchises yet: How To Train Your Dragon. The movie stood out for it's appealing art style and fantastically crafted coming of age story, following the exploits of the awkward protagonist Hiccup (Full name Hiccup Horrendous Haddock The Third) and the charming dragon whom he befriended in the original movie, Toothless.
The teaser offers little in terms of plot, but already seems to play up that continuity will play a big part in the sequel, showing off a grown up protagonist with battle scars from his exploits in the original and a definitive trust between himself and his dragon-born friend. The original movie was a huge smash hit back in 2010, grossing over $500 million worldwide and proving that Dreamworks had the potential to tell stories not reliant on played out pop culture references and gross-out humor. With a release date for June 2014
