Robin Frohardt is an illustrator/puppet & set designer/all-around creative mind who has worked/studied in Seattle, San Francisco, and now NYC. She came about puppet and set design some years back, and has jumped right into the deep end of this interesting and classic creative field.
One medium in particular that has caught our eye, is cardboard. Based on Werner Herzog's film 'Fitzcarraldo,' Frohardt recreated a short made almost entirely of cardboard (I did eye some string, but otherwise, daaaammn). The level of artistry and clear dedication inspires awe in me, and reminds me that a lot can be accomplished with hard work.
