The folks at Mega64 did an awesome job capturing the essence of what made the ultra violent Hotline Miami an indie sleeper hit late last year. Except their version takes place in public, much to the dismay of the unsuspecting public and restaurant owners. From throwing bats to those blooming white suits, they nailed it on the head with this video.
The top down game narrated an assassin's downward spiral into madness as his hits progressed, with nearly puzzle-like gameplay centered around strategically taking down entire buildings full of enemies without getting killed (The game had insta-kill mechanics). A series of masks would unlock all kinds of strange perks for the protagonist. If you haven't played it yet, we'd highly recommend checking it out on Steam.
