Jake Parker is a Utah based freelance illustrator, comic book artist and designer who captured us with his cute but deadly mechanical creations. Previously employed by Blue Sky films, Parker had a chance to contribute his design skills to creating some memorable films including
Horton Hears A Who,
Rio and their upcoming
Epic.
Mr. Parker's charming style allows his pencil work to shine through, giving his pieces an awesome textural aspect. Despite the cuteness of his pieces, his work shows off an appreciation of functional industrial designs (That would make great toys imo). Check out more of his awesome work after the break!
