Little Witch Academia By Studio Trigger

Studio Trigger just recently released the new trailer for Little Witch Academia, a punchy looking new anime coming from a studio founded by some true anime industry juggernauts. Just by looking at the founder you can get a good idea of what to expect: Ex-Gainax employee Hiroyuki Imaishi was a key animator on series including Evangelion, FLCL, Dead Leaves before moving on to directing Gurren Lagann and the truly bizarre Panty & Stocking With Garterbelt. 

The project is being funded by the Anime Mirai program, a government program intended to boost the training of young artists. Check out the Studio Trigger Facebook page for a look into their studio.
