Li Hong Bo's Surreal White Paper Sculptures

Li Hong Bo's fascination with traditional Chinese toys made out of paper resulted in his own interpretation of the practice, resulting in some absolutely incredible, warpable sculptures that maintain their form with a delicate touch. On the flipside, seeing them being warped real time into moving optical illusions is truly surreal.

Resembling plaster busts, these amazing creations were crafted using thousands of sheets of honeycombed paper meticulously glued together to create the intended shapes.Check out more images of his amazing work over at the Domink Wensch Gallery website.
