Nine Inch Nails' Trent Reznor returns as part of a new collective, featuring his wife/singer Mariqueen Maandig, composter Atticus Ross and art director Rob Sheridan. In a new video from their upcoming Welcome Oblivion album (March 5), we're presented with a terrifying, grim vision of the future in which humanity has been reduced to a primitive state.
The post apocalyptic music video was visualized by the London based Shynola group, who truly brought the group's vision for the track to life, based off of discussions about how a post-technological society would function. We look forward to seeing more of these golden eyed people and hope that this project might incorporate an overarching narrative like some of Reznor's previous projects. Year Zero comes to mind.
