Nintendo may not have had the most amazing E3 conference, but we still love the company and the franchises they produce. I just wish the company would change the situations and introduce some form of twist to spice up the many colourful characters and locations they have created. Jed Henry has done this by applying a feudal flavor to iconic Nintendo characters.

This series of Japanese Ukiyo-e woodblock designs shows a classic game character in samurai form and make me want a Japanese orientated reboot of every Nintendo franchise. Could you imagine Link battling a Japanese dragon or Mario dealing with traditional Japanese demons? Either way, you can check out the collection after the jump!
