THE ART OF SAM HITI

Yes, the original Conan was way cooler (via)
Sam Hiti is an incredibily talented comic book artist, only comparable I think, to the Paul Pope phenomenon... its not surprising that both guys admire each other as comic book artists.

Sam is based in the U.S. and runs his own indie comic book editorial company, with which he has released a couple of graphic novels; Tiempos Finales, Goulash, and his latest called Death Day, A post-apocalyptic lofi narration not unlike Dune or to some extent The Matrix. Sam does all the inking and drawing, and he's damn good at it. I have to wait 3 more weeks for my copy of Death Day to arrive, till then I'll browse the web or his tumblr and drool over his artwork.

After the break, check out some of his ink drawings and water colors, most of them personal takes on famous movies and characters. Enjoy!
