Living Homeless In New York City (A 14 Day Experiment)

I fully expect some of you pessimists to drop in here and complain about "some rich Asian kid pretending to be homeless for 2 weeks", but I still find Ivy League student, Michael Lee's experiment vastly entertaining. For the next two weeks Mike will be living on the streets of New York City with nothing but his clothes, a sleeping bag, a phone and a toothpick he can trade. Also, there might be a camera crew following him around from time to time. To make things a little more interesting (not that living 2 weeks without money or shelter isn't interesting) Mike will have to complete daily challenges. Call it gimmicky, but it leads to some interesting realizations.

I'm really excited to see where this goes. Once Mike starts dirtying up, I'll be interested to see how often people throw free hot dogs at him.

If you're interested in following Mike 24/7, check out his twitter @sleepinginjeans and check out his YouTube channel.
