The folks over at Antrepo4.com have been creating some very interesting case studies for minimalism in commercial products, stripping them down to nothing but their most fundamental features, while still retaining a familiar look to the original product. Judging from how some brands, including Starbucks have been going the minimalist route with their packaging when their brand got recognizable enough, I wouldn't be surprised if the Antrepo guys are laying down the future of packaging with these concepts...The minimalism is kind of futuristic to me.
