The Animated Priest Prologue: Tartakovsky Returns

The Priest movie trailers released so far have revealed that the movie will be about a war between a religious order and vampire hordes. Based off the synopsis alone, the movie sounds an awful lot like Judge Dredd..but with Priests instead of Judges.  The clip above was an animated backstory by the now legendary animator Genndy Tartakovsky: The mind behind the Powerpuff Girls, Dexter's Lab, Samurai Jack and the original(and superior) Star Wars: Clone Wars animated show, among others.

This is probably his first venture into the realm of truly adult content, and it works surprisingly well at telling the backstory of this ongoing war between humanity and vampires.  Priest will be released on May 13 this year.
