Alice Returns With More Madness And Pretty Environments

Recently, I thought it was a good idea to go back and play the original Alice. Not the best idea I ever had. The jumping mechanics were abysmal, the combat consisted of holding down the mouse button and pressing forward and level design was mostly linear. Not that this wasn't something to be expected from the consistently disappointing American McGee (Bad Day L.A. anyone?).

While the gameplay aged about as well as Lindsay Lohan the atmosphere definitely remains impressive, increasing my interest for the sequel exponentially. With this new trailer, I can safely say that my hasn't hasn't faltered. If the game is anywhere near as crazy and pretty as the trailer seems to imply I'm fully on board. Here's hoping for more giant mechanical-eye-stabbing gameplay.
