New Spiderman and Captain America costumes revealed

Two new images were revealed this week for the Spiderman reboot and Captain America flick showing off the new outfits.  Overall, not bad.  The Captain America outfit is a pretty faithful, with some changes that make sense(The wings on the helmet, for example).  The outfit is based off his Ultimate comic line, from the WW2 era.  What bugs me are the absolutely crazy looking guys behind him, who look hilariously out of place for the time this is supposed to place in.

Also, we just found the first blooper in this image.  Somebody needs to teach that right grunt how to setup his flamethrower.

As for the new Spiderman, is it really time for a reboot?  Not everyone might agree, but I feel that the franchise should have gone away for a few years before rearing its head again.  The costume looks fine but I'm not totally sold on the actor, Andrew Garfield.

If I can predict him based off of his role in the Social Network, we're going to see the whiniest Spiderman yet.  We'll wait and see.

  1. I was actually talking to you about it last night. It's been almost a decade since the Spiderman movie series started, and a reboot seems right, especially after the third film left such a bitter taste in mouths of both comic fans and casual viewers.

The cast is right, the outfit is perfect (with webshooters!), and just looks good.

As for the Captain America stuff, ignore the crappy shot; my friend was an extra on set and he can tell you that there is so much that makes this film the best in the newest Marvel Avenger series, and the details I know make me want to see this film right now....
