Does this boxart look familiar? I guess EA decided to heavily base the boxart off the iconic photos of the Special Forces soldiers stationed in Afghanistan during early operations. The one in question was codenamed 'Cowboy.' Pretty funny how closely this version mirrors the real life version, possibly part of the reason the US army has banned the sale of these games in army stores worldwide. A little too real for some tastes.
Interesting fact though about the beards, these spec-op guys grew them out due to it being a regional sign of manliness. The more beard, the more respect. Quite a unique look for these operatives.
