Axe Cop Upfronts Trailer

I find it hard to chew on the fact that an animated rendition of the popular webcomic Axe Cop will be hitting television during Fox's Saturday animation slot. This newest teaser shows some impressive stuff but the real shining star can be found in the voice of Nick Offerman, he truly is the perfect Axe Cop. I admit it's been a while since I've taken the time to read further into Axe Cop, but this teaser definitely nails the charm of what drew me in initially.

Premiering on July 27th, the series will begin with six 15-minute episodes with hopes that Fox doesn't decide to cancel it. Like that would ever happen!

The Awesome Phuzzy Comics Of Monica Ray

Gamer peer pressure. This is my daily nightmare. (Via)

I recently stumbled onto Monica Ray's awesome slice of life webcomic through the awesome power of Twitter, which led me to Phuzzy Comics, home of her webcomic. Monica has been working on her autobiographical series for at least a year or two now, covering the everyday misdadventures/awesome times of herself, her roommate Cece and close friend Yuj, along with a whole other miscellaneous cast of people in her life.

What I absolutely loved about this comic were the sheer amount of relatable characters, who kind of closely resembled the type of people I went to college with just a short few years back. The idealists, antagonizers, friends for life, trolls, that friend obsessed with cats (Wait, that was me) and the other, typical ecclectic group of people you encounter during those years.

This webcomic has well developed personalities, a charming art style, and doesn't take itself too seriously..Which is a key ingredient in the formula for developing a feelgood webcomic. It was hard to not smile while going through the strips, so I'd highly recommend checking this out if you're looking for a comic to bookmark permanently. I've picked a small selection of sample webcomics after the break for you guys to check out, including her awesome Skyrim and Ico strips. You can find a ton more on her website!

Doctor Cat Is An Art Critic

She must be blind. I only see four whiskers.

I'd have to agree with Dr. Cat, he looks way more handsome than that. If you haven't had the chance to check out Sarah Sobole's awesome webcomic about a Doctor Cat(let's not forget the MD), you're seriously missing out. Go check out the comic meowwww!!!

Dillon Ross Has Something Special With SpaceBeard

SpaceBeard is a relatively new web comic series by artist, Dillon Ross, that gives strong Sam & Max vibes. Honestly, Sam & Max is everything I could want in a web comic, yet Dillon somehow manages to transcend that vibe and make it his own. Over the past couple months, Dillon has really grown into his style and is putting out some quality(and hilarious) stuff. I'm so damn excited for the next entry. Hit the jump to check out the first few entries and give his tumblr a go.

Medic = Necromancer?

Oh god. Videogame logic does not apply to real life.

Is there a mod for this in Battlefield? Check out more of Greg Hoyle's work here.

Confused Genders

DJ's been playing through Dragon Age II recently. He's been enjoying the experience and I've been enjoying watching him make choices. Mostly the choices of who to lie with as it were. He's quite popular with the gentlemen in the game.

Because of Wonder Con this past weekend and several other obstacles we weren't able to get together for a comic this week but we're taking this time to introduce a special little guy. This is Eugene. He's 9.

Eugene's having a rough day but buck up kiddo. Blue skies are on the horizon.

We'll be back on the Get Job comic train next week but until then check out our site where you can find more info on Eugene here and all the comics we've done. Check it out!

Get Job: Spider-Man: Leave the Darkness On

We took a little time to investigate the on going troubles that seem to be plaguing the Spider-Man musical. We're mostly just curious there is such a dedication to making sure this show goes on. Check out the comic by clicking the image above or going to our blog to see this comic and our other ones here! Get Job.

It's DJ's (Get Job's other half) birthday today and we'll be celebrating later. Hopefully not like this but it has been discussed on multiple occasions. The Bieb train keeps on a rollin'!

Also DJ will also be up in Seattle at the Emerald City Comic Con from March 4th through the 6th selling prints of his work and representing Get Job so be sure to stop by his booth and say hi. I think we even have a few stickers left to hand out.

Happy Birthday DJ,
