Pacific Rim LEGOs Need To Happen Immediately

Hot damn. It's been a minute since we've gotten a chance to post something Pacific Rim related, but luckily Japanese LEGO modeler MOKO has brought this to the table. After creating the 3-foot EVA 01 masterpiece last year, MOKO has been on a roll with other projects including the four main Jaegers from Pacific Rim. Mark 4, Mark 3, Mark 5, and Mark 1 have all been modeled in their full mecha-glory and it's pretty damn impressive.

Each of the four Jaegers are completely poseable, adding a second layer to their already awesome awesomeness. Mark 3 even includes it's freighter ship from the film, adding to the cool factor. After the jump you can check out each of the Jaegers in their full glory and wish that LEGO would back a future project as cool as this (not that Back to the Future and The Simpsons aren't already radical).

The Official Back To The Future Lego Set Draws Near

Since Lego Cuusoo's inception in 2008 only three (quality) sets, including a Minecraft themed one have been produced, but the fourth project looks to be upon us shortly. For those unaware, Cuusoo is the equivalent of the Lego Kickstarter, allowing the burgeoning Lego community to vote on custom creations for the possibility of them being released in limited edition sets. Over a year and a half ago, the Back To The Future project was posted and quickly met it's goal, resulting in Cuusoo reviewing the project for production. Unlike a few past failures due to inappropriate content and IP restrictions, this one is actually happening!

The set is due to be released by the end of July with rumors circulating of it showing up at this year's San Diego Comicon. While the DeLorean isn't quite as streamlined as the original project, it's still looking pretty sexy in Lego form, although I think I'm more excited to own Doc Brown and McFly in Lego form. The aftermarket price of these is going to be ridiculous
