The latest music video from Flying Lotus' You're Dead! is here just in the time for Halloween. Directed and animated courtesy of David Firth, the ingeniously demented mind behind the mental scar-inducing Salad Fingers series, Ready Err Not takes us into the decapitated mind of Flylo himself; complete with writhing hellspawn, quasimodo axe-men, eye spiders, and mischievous elf children straddling the line of androgyny. Imagine 'Waking Life' as more of a waking nightmare.

I Love You So Hard (NSFW)

Some people just have a lot of feelings. They love... A lot. And so hard. This extreme and grotesque animated short by Ross Butter and Joel Veitch shows us a man who with unrequited feelings for a lady he meets on a park bench. I mean, I thought I've heard of crazy before, what with cyber-stalking and showing up to places unannounced. But holy sh*t, does this dude take it to a whole new level. I suppose you can say he thinks outside the box, which is generally a good thing, so... Anyways, most definitely NSFW. Because, damn.

The Floonstoons

This is... I mean... I guess this is what I'm left with as far as Saturday morning cartoons go. We've evolved from wacky yet clean animations, to ones where Betty Rubble is an apparent abused wife (black eye and all). And you know what? I like it. The Floonstoons are the inbred version of our favorite caveman-era cartoon folks, doing unspeakable things with their related super sugary, fruity cereal. I think "Fred" has found himself in a bad, bad situation. Maybe this time, he'll be happy to be locked out of the house.

Gum by Noam Sussman (NSFW?)

Animator Noam Sussman has a real knack for the bizarre and an absolute WTF factor.  The next selection in Cartoon Brew's Student Animation Festival, Sussman created this strange short about a woman who swallows a piece of gum. And then becomes pregnant with a, uh, gum baby. Or something. It's grotesque, politically incorrect (not that we've taken issue with that before), and difficult to NOT watch. I'm sufficiently weirded out, which is the point. So, good job! Tagged as possibly NSFW. Check out more of Sussman's work on his blog!

Superman's Best Friend (NSFW)

I'm just gonna cut right to the chase: Some days (everyday) there really is nothing quite like a good poop joke, or anything humorously related to poop. With that in mind, I'm cautiously (maybe overly so) marking this as NSFW-ish. In Brett Underhill's Superman's Best Friend, Superman and his dog (aka, the Best Friend) do what most owners & dogs do towards the end of the day, and go out for an evening walk/dog potty break. Let's just say, if he's Superman's dog, then it's only fair that everything this dog does is going to be, um, epic.
