Aside from barking at every mere hint of an backyard intruder (i.e. friendly squirrels and various birds) and giving me a reason to vacuum the carpet regularly, my dog isn't that versatile around the house. That's not to say I don't love my dog, she's the apple of my eye, but there are times when I'm taking her out for a walk when I just yearn for something more.
