DIPLO Ft. Gent & Jawns - Butter's Theme

So we've posted some Diplo videos a time or two (or three). The video for the track 'Butter's Theme,' featuring Gent & Jawns is a bizarrely mirrored and repetitive series of a ghetto fabulous white girl singing/rapping about, what else? Her booty.  And man, is it 'cray.' The first thing I thought of when I saw the video is the amazing Cyriak (who we've also posted about, oh, a million or so times). Trippy, weird, but hypnotizing and fun to watch all at the same time.

Diplo Ft. Jahan Lennon - About That Life

If you're familiar with Diplo's typical body of work, you might find yourself a little confused by this track, which is rather uncharacteristic of what we've come to expect from the jack of all trades DJ/Producer/rapper. However, it's somewhat of a breath of fresh air at the same time, offering a much more downtempo, strumm-y psych-rock sound created in collaboration with Jahan Lennon (Po Po). Prepare yourself for lots of hazy, at times kaleidoscopic visuals.

A pole ascends into the heavens, littered with the bodies of various dancers in an odd state of limbo. Ryan Staake's video answers the question you've probably pondered since the day you were born: Just how many strippers it takes to reach the stars? The track is from his latest EP, Express Yourself which dropped in mid June.

Take A Psychedelic Trip Into Happiness With 'Rica Reel'

I recently stumbled upon Giraud Pascal's Vimeo account and have replayed his animations on multiple ocassions, Rica Reel is probably my favorite from Giraud. With a chill track by Diplo and some really neat creature designs, be prepared for a really awesome animation that sets the mood just right. If you want a nice start to your day, I suggest you give this a watch. I can almost guarantee it'll make you instantly happy and ready for the day.
