Cat Fight

Cyriak pointed me towards this video, which absolutely blew me away with its epic choreography and otherworldly battles and M. Night Shyamalan worthy twists. On the way to meet their 'Nan,' two British folks meet a giant kitten in an alley which results in an epic brawl featuring multiplying kittens, paw attacks, explosions and lots of KO's. Absolutely loved it, so don't forget to check out their other sketches on their Youtube channel, Guksack!

I just discovered Skifcha recently..A mysterious Russian cat who hides behind hipster paper glasses and appears to enjoy dubstep, as well as lurking Eastern European country sides in a most mysterious fasion. The cat has one hell of a following overseas, with its most recent video getting close to 900,000 views in just 2 days. Why does Skifcha need to hide her identity? We're going to be keeping a close eye on this cat on its Facebook page.

Happy Friday, everyone! We always try to keep things fun around here at Awesome-Robo, but Fridays are extra fun.  And with that, we need an extra fun and cute comic. I came across this adorably fun tumblr of a comic series known as GaMERcaT (check out the other comics here).  In this Zelda-inspired edition, it looks like our kitty friend might have jumped the gun here.

Scream-Dubbed Cat Yawn Compilation

I'd say on the most part, funny videos on the net illicit a chortle or a "heh" out of me.  They're good, sometimes even great, but for whatever reason I just don't have any huge reaction  (unless watching with someone else, in which case we kinda bounce off each other laughter-wise).  But this... THIS... Made me lose my s*it.  There were tears, yes.  And all it took was a simple idea to dub yawning cat videos.  We've helped unearth a true gem.

Blind Kitty Gets A Second Chance

Sweet little Oskar the blind kitty has just been made so happy.  He has been given his first toys, including a little ball with a bell in it.  It really made me d'aww to watch this sweet little guy.  I was due for a good cry, anyway.  While you may also shed a few tears while watching this, at least be comforted in knowing they're happy tears.

I'm crushed.  Absolutely... astonished.  I thought all the internet kitty videos were homemade, and real.  But no, they're creations of Kittywood Studios.  They aren't even always real cats, for goodness sake!  NO REAL CATS.  I haven't been this disappointed since I found out Santa wasn't real.  At least I still have the Easter Bunny.

How to Spot A Cat Person's Home

As someone who has never had a cat, I'm going to assume this is accurate.  Not much unlike that of a house inhabited by a dog, I must say.  With the exception of the f**ked up mini blinds.  Call me slow, but I always wondered why some people had completely broken mini blinds.  Are they rough-housing like no other, or something?  No, they probably just have kitties.  Window treatment destroying kittehs.  This isn't the first time we've posted stuff from Cat versus Human, so don't forget to check out the rest of Yasmine's stuff on her blog!

High Fives From Maru!

Our favorite kitty is back, and he's doling out awesome high fives.  I especially love the look on his face, it's like "You want more high fives?  Well, okay, if it'll amuse you, I'll continue."  Even with the obvious half-assed motions, he's still adorable as always.  We love you, Maru!

Hardcore Cat Glitch Out

Scared as sh*t cat is arching his back, ears are completely back, and creepily repeating "Nononono".  Part of me is cracking the f**k up, another part of me is a bit afraid.  Exactly what is he saying "Nononono" to??  This is the crap I'd expect to see in a scary movie, when an animal has sensed evil, or something.  On that note:  Why am I writing this particular post at midnight, right before bed?

Sorry if the title misled you.  It's not my fault that you have a dirty, dirty mind.  Anywho, Merlin the kitty is introduced to the love of his life, the massage machine.  Happiness and harmony follows, and all is well in this feline's world.  Since it's Sunday, try to be as equally relaxed.

Big Cats vs. Laser Pointers

In case you're new to the internet (or life), I should let you know that 99.9%* of cats are utterly fascinated with laser pointers.  They are forever on a never-ending quest to capture the mysterious light.  The folks over at Big Cat Rescue wondered: Do the large, wild relatives of domesticated household cats have the same curiosity?

Only one way to find out, right?  Watch the video for yourself, but I can say this: It appears the larger the cat, the less it cared.  I mean, I suppose that makes sense.  "I'm a mothaf***ing TIGER, fool.  I will not be bothered by your BS magic."

It's only Wednesday, and The Kitty Council is already in need of the weekend.  Feline-draped fruit is a clear, clear sign that everyone involved is tired as f**k.  Don't even bother asking the Chairman to assume a more stately pose.  It won't happen.

After a long Saturday night, I'm sure a lot of us are making this same face.  "Wow, this air tastes really good.  I just can't... I can't seem to keep my eyes all the way open...
